From the various models we offer under moisture separators, there are three standard models that we widely cater, namely, Type DSL, Type DST, and Type DSU. All these separators have the efficiency of eliminating 99% of entrainment from the system. In addition, our separators are not bound to cause a significant pressure drop either. Hence, better efficiencies are achieved too. We can also customize our products to meet each and every industrial and customer requirements.

You’re likely aware that steam with moisture content (wet steam) is detrimental to your process and systems. But it could cause more damage that you imagined. For one, it leads you to spend more on system maintenance. And, steam could be the reason your flow meters and control valves begin to function inconsistently. Experts opine that that wet steam has a direct impact on steam-driven or steam-heated systems, thus resulting in lower productivity.

Didion Separator Company’s moisture separators, available in three models, are highly recommended as they are capable of entraining up to 99% of all entrainment that measures 10 microns and larger. It is effectively used with air, vapor, gas, and steam pipelines. Once installed, Didion steam separators do not cause a significant pressure drop in your systems.

If your needs are unique, Didion Separator Company can create bespoke units for you with the desired efficiencies. All standard 150# units are designed for 150 psig @ 500° F., and all standard 300# units are designed for 500 psig @ 650° F. All of our moisture separators are code-stamped per ASME Section VIII, Div I. Here are our three moisture separator models:

• Type DSL: This ASME-approved in-line separator is suited for horizontal or vertical down flow.
• Type DST: This is an ASME compliant horizontal in-line separator.
• Type DSU: This is a vertical up-flow in-line separator.
